Julie A. Alter, D.M.D.
Dr. Julie Alter earned her first dental degree at the Universidad Central de Venezuela in 2000, before relocating to Florida to pursue her doctoral degree at Nova Southeastern University, graduating in 2004.

Following her doctoral degree, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Nova Southeastern University in 2005 — building the clinical foundation that would define her career. She subsequently joined the practice of Dr. Alan Burch, one of Aventura's most respected dentists.

Throughout her career, Dr. Alter has maintained an unwavering commitment to continuing education, ensuring every patient benefits from the most current and advanced dental techniques available. Her expertise spans every facet of dentistry — from restorative and cosmetic work to endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, and implant dentistry.

Dr. Alter brings a uniquely rich multicultural perspective to her practice — the product of over 20 years of bilingual clinical experience. She is fluent in both English and Spanish, and serves patients across all ages and backgrounds. Outside of dentistry, she is devoted to her family and three children.
